COSTS AND FEES

Payment for attorneys' professional activity is made in accordance with the statute governing lawyers' fees (RVG) either according to statutory scale or as an agreed flat or hourly rate.

According to the RVG, initial advice may cost EUR 190.00 plus expenses and VAT. If you do not have insurance cover for legal costs, we can offer you initial advice for a fee of EUR 100.00. Those receiving social security benefit, unemployment benefit "II", and those on similarly low incomes have the right to claim state assistance for legal advice (Beratungshilfe). Recipients are only required to pay the lawyer 10.00 EUR. Information as to the conditions for claiming assistance for legal advice may be obtained by phoning our office and is of course free of charge.

As we are five attorneys who have come together as an office community we are able to represent our clients in all important legal matters. Those cases requiring a notary are taken on by one of the two lawyers who are also notaries.
